Grace notes question
Greetings,
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I have a quick question about grace notes. Specifically, sometimes I want to write a measure that has several grace notes in it contained in both staves (see attached for an example of what I mean. NOTE: I am not wishing to copy :Liszt's music here, but only use it as an example), but when I do the grace notes get all "jacked up" and misaligned (so what notes should be played in the left and right hands significantly misaligned). I have tried over an over again. Is there a way to remedy this? What am I doing wrong? I am away from my musescore on my laptop, so I cannot post my specific example, but if it helps, I will later tonight... I am just hoping somebody might have some guidance with what I have provided here.
Also, is it possible to create measures with only grace notes in it?
Thanks,
Michael

If you mean all those little notes, they are just little notes in a cadenza, not grace notes. Create your score, select that measure and make its actual duration sufficiently long to cope with all the notes (18/4 or thereabouts in this case). Then enter as normal notes. Select the notes and right-click, Note Properties and make them small (check the "small" box).

Tuplet also help, pls. find the sample attached.
Beethoven Spring Sonata, you may hide the tuplet numbers.
Irregular bar also okay.
I use Tuplet, exported xml file and open by another software without problem,
but Irregular bar method may need re-edit in new software.
