Stop Swing playback
I've searched for an answer and can't find one so I'll ask the question.
I'm working on a sax quartet score which starts with moderate swing and I've switched swing on for playback using swing text from the pallet but I want to switch swing off later in the score and go to straight quavers. How do I do this please?

Use swing text, right click it, select System Text Properties, Swing settings and turn it off. You can change the text to something like "Straight" if you like.

Excellent. Thank you so much for your swift reply.
Can you just switch to Straight in the Master Palette?

Yes, you can simply set "Straight" from the text palette (MuS 3, tempo palette in MuS 4) to a selected note.
This is exactly the same procedure as setting "Swing".
And you can edit this text afterwards if you like. I have also seen "Even" in some scores.
