To delete anything (except a rest) click it once and press the delete key. If you did this on a slur and it did not delete, I suspect you have a corrupt score. In that case attach it to a post here using Chose a file below.
Correction on that (except a rest): (except a voice 1 rest)
Also there are some more exceptions, like clefs (as long as it is the default clef) and normal barlines, basically stuff MuseScore generates on the fly rather than a user putting it there
Tuplets are already beamed in groups of three by default in most cases. There might be certain time signatures where this isn't true in certain cases. if you are seeing a case where tuplets are beamed differently than you think is correct, please attach the score you are having trouble with so we can see what might be happening.
Indeed, the time signature defaults for 5/4 are not good. If you right-click the time signature and choose Time Signature Properties, you will see the dialog that controls the default beaming, as described in the Handbook. For triplets, we basically round down, so we break beams for eighth note triplets the same way we break beams for sixteenth notes. The algorithm is actually more sophisticated than that, but in general, by customizing the behavior of sixteenths, you will influence the behavior of eighth note triplets as well.
So, go to Time Signature Properties, and make sure you set the sixteenths to break every beat. This should really be part of the default, I think. If someone wants to file an official bug report to the issue tracker on this, it would be easy enough to fix. We should probably look at some of the other less commonly used time signatures to see if we can improve the beaming defaults.
There is no such thing as a x/5 time signature, the denominator is always a power of 2. Do you mean a "4 in the space of 5" tuplet, or "5 in the space of 4"?
Edit: I should have looked at the image, it is a 5/4 time sig, not 4/5
First of all a picture isn't a score and only give hints as to what might be happening. Since the only line we can see for sure in the picture is one line of the accordion, it looks like the beaming is being consistent with that set up for the time signature. Beats 1, 2 & 3 are beamed and beat 4 & 5 are beamed. You probably want to change the beaming for the time signature see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/time-signatures#create-your-own-time-… for instructions.
Hello again,
As you probably can see there are 10 Eights, in every measure equal 5 quarters. I keyed in the wrong way.
There should in other Words be 5/4 in time signature. The song is in 5/4 from the very beginning.
That you are referring to in the handbook dos not get me any wiser.

To change the beaming of notes see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/beams. If you are trying to change all of them in the score see either https://musescore.org/en/handbook/time-signatures#create-your-own-time-… or https://musescore.org/en/handbook/time-signatures#change-default-beaming

The Query is about triplets I want them beamed in Groups of Three, which make them easier to read.
It is default in Final, as I am usually use.

You want the grouping bracket visible. Click the 3 in the triplet and in the inspector change Bracket type to Bracket.

Hello,
The time signature is 4/5 as you can see.
