MuseScore Load Error - Cannot read file

I tried opening my project today and I received this error.

MuseScore: Load Error
Cannot read file C:\Personal\music\000_Transposing stuff\0_Say_You_Won't_Let_Go,_Violin_Piano_Duet2.mscz:

I've checked the hidden files and backups but all the versions were older versions of the project I've been working on. Is there anyway I can recover this file?

Sorry, the file is toast. Unfortunately you will need start using a backup.

I just curious if something strange happened the last time you had it open. Did MuseScore crash or get suddenly shut down for some other reason? If so, when MuseScore was opened the next time, what did it say and what did you do?
