Melisma without lyric
The top and bottom lyric staves represent Montserrat and Freddie respectively. However, the underscore I enter does not show (audio reference).
Before filing in the issue tracker, does anyone disagree that this is a missing feature?

Would this be acceptable?
If so, start the melisma without words by pressing ctrl+space then the melisma

Thanks for that, but I couldn't accept it because it means the melisma is not aligned with the edge of the notehead.

Use Mike's trick.

Then, select melisma line, (While holding shift key, drag mouse from top left blank area to bottom right)
Open the inspector, (F8 to toggle)
Adjust Horizontal offset to: -0.50
