Refining (editing) a transcription.
I came on here because I wanted to tweak transcriptions. What I want to do is probably very basic and will involve the simple removal of some notes or the addition of notes. Is this kind of software, and Musescore in particular, well adapted to this kind of application? BTW, I already got useful help here on how to import a transcript.

Yes, it is. Take a little time, watch the tutorial videos: https://musescore.org/en/tutorials, take a look in the handbook, especially parts of the chapter basics and notation: https://musescore.org/en/handbook, to get a feeling, how MuseScore works. And if you've trouble with something, don't hesitate to ask in the forum ;-).
