Hide selected instruments for printing
MuseScore newbie here. I've tried searching the forum and the handbook but could not find the answer to this one:
If you have a score with multiple instruments, but you would like to print out instrument specific scores, is there a way to hide other instruments for printing?

go to edit, instruments. click on the box to check or uncheck which instruments you would like to be visible (seen).
the top row should say staves, visible, clef, linked, staff type.
under staves is the instrument name and next to each instrument name is the box you would check or uncheck for whatever instruments you'd like to see.

That is indeed how you hide individual instruments from within the score. but if you goal is to print individual parts for each instrument, that's not the way - use File / Parts as explained above. It's much easier and also works much better for that purpose.
