© symbol
What if you could add copyright symbol from a small simple button while creating new score info (or editing old ones)?
Would it be possible to make it be added by a double-click (or right-clicks) on the text box or such ?

A previous release had the ability to automatically translate (c) into the symbol. I miss that, but even that wasn't ideal. I agree we need a better way here than needing to copy and paste it from elsewhere or depend on some obscure OS or keyboard feature to get the symbol via an arcane key sequence like Alt+0169.

I'm personally starting my works on a laptop, and I recall that those "arcane keys" work only from numpad keys, not from top line!? Not so sure for that anymore, as I've changed to Linux lately. Anyway in addition, laptops rarely has a separate numpad, so I was just wondering does it cause even more joggling on a function keys...?
I just tried, so it seems that those alt+numpad sequences doesn't work in Linux as in windows.
I'm quite new to Linux also, so might be just me and a lack of knowledge on that one...
I can use a template to solve this usually, but if I quickly wan't to use other type of sheet, I would find some sort of shortcut very useful...

The numpad requirement is something I believe is unique to Windows, although many Windows keyboards that lack a dedicated numpad still have a way of generating those commands via the Fn key. Some Linux systems probably have a similar method, but I don't know what it might be. Something to consult in the documentation for your particular distribution maybe.
Otherwise, I generally just copy and paste from a text file where I've inserted the character via a menu command. Or I enter the character into the title or some other text in my score via the F2 "Special Characters" window, then copy/paste it from there.
