Lead Sheets

Is it possible to import a midi file and then extract the lead sheet with lyrics ? If not , do you know of any software that can do this ?

If the MIDI file is melody only, then when you import it you will have the melody. Lyrics and chord symbols, however, are not part of the normal MIDI standard. I gather there are some extensions used by some companies to put this info in the file, and MuseScore has limited support for some of that, but normally if the goal is to transfer notation from one program to another, MusicXML is the way to go, not MIDI, because it was designed form the beginning for notation, whereas MIDI was not.
