Can't use keyboard shortcuts?
I've been using MuseScore on my computer. Everything was working fine until a few minutes ago when the keyboard features stopped working. I can't use the arrow keys to move my highlights, nor can I use the arrow keys to raise and lower pitches. This makes MuseScore a lot less functional. I suppose I must have hit something by accident, especially since I'm working on a Windows 10 that I'm not used to (7 all the way). How do I turn this ability back on?

Did you try already to revert MuseScore to factory settings? https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings
Is it only the cursor that have stopped working, or all keys? For example, if you click a note then press "S", does a slur appear? If you click a note and press "Delete", does it get deleted?
If only the arrow keys are not functioning, then indeed it seems you may have somehow overridden the default shortcuts - not that this is something you could have done accidentally - and Revert to Factory Settings will fix it. Also try simply closing and restarting MuseScore, or rebooting the computer.
If none of that helps, let us know which other shortcuts you've tried and if any of them work. Also different score.

none of mine work the 'delete' button doesn't nor does the 's' or 'arrow keys', could someone please advise?

I've never seen anyone with so many problems with the program. Can you start a new thread at https://musescore.org/en/node/add/forum?forum_id=6 and list all of the problems you are having. Also tell us which version of MuseScore and Operating system for your computer.

Try Help / Revert to Factory Settings. If that doesn't work, please provide more info - ideally, a score, and the precise steps you are following that aren't working.
Thanks guys, yeah. I've turned off and on my computer since I've been here posting this and the arrow key functions work once again. Must have been a restart-ready glitch to fix.
