Deleting rests create more rests?

Hi everyone,

My score somehow got corrupted? I tried uploading this on here and it said that certain measures were corrupted, which is obvious in the first photo with the extra rests. I tried deleting the 3/4, which cured that particular measure of the extra rest, then added in a significant amount of rests in between tuplets throughout the rest of the piece, as shown in the third photo (the second photo is the passage before deleting the time signature).

A solution would be greatly appreciated.
