Import in to Musescore
Is it possinle to import song lyrics pdf into Musescore? I have typed in music to convert it to tab, but would like to scan and enter the lyrics.

Have you tried to use
If you only want to insert lyrics to an existing score, you can do it by selecting the text inside the source (for example from a pfd file), copy it (ctrl+c) and paste it (ctrl+v) inside MuseScore for lyrics or a text box.

Not helpful if as I suspect like myself sometimes I have the lyrics not a tune or am provided lyrics and need a tune by entering and editing the text without knowing the scale or the number of beats or what needs to be adapted in order to create a score.

I'm not really following - you'll need to know the notes at some point if you're trying to create a musical score. So, wait to add the lyrics until you figure that out. f you jus want the lyrics to show as plain text, just paste them into a frame as mentioned.
