Shapes Notes plugin only seems to work for "7 shape notes" and not for "4 shape notes"

I am trying to use the Shapes Notes plug-in in MS 2.1.0 and I can only get to it to switch between "7 shape notes" and "Normal notes". If I tick for "4 shape notes" it changes to 7 shape notes both in the score and in the dialog box to show the selected type being shown.
