Can you use audio interface with musescore? (MIDI Input drop down arrow is greyed out)
I want to use musescore's midi features but my midi keyboard goes through an audio interface first, with regular midi cables. THEN it plugs into the computer via USB. Is it possible to use this? I'm trying to use PortAudio but my interface is not detected under "MIDI Input".

Yeah, maybe you should see my attachments. Already did all that. It doesn't work.

I do not think I can help you but
Make sure that the midi cables are correctly inserted and, waiting for a better answer, see: https://musescore.org/en/node/196816
and try https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings
Which OS and which version of MuseScore are you using?
Any virtual MIDI cable driver installed?

Mac OS Sierra and Musescore 2.1.
What's virtual MIDI cable driver typically used with?
