Creating a page of exercises
I am trying to write some exercises for my online drum tutorials. I want to put text in between the lines describing what they are. Not sure how to add text other than as lyrics or staff notes.
Also, because they are exercises, I want to be able to add new lines instead of continuing as if it were a composition. Any ideas on how I can achieve this?
Thanks!

For text between lines, you can insert a text frame and type your text in it. (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/frames#text)
I am not sure what you mean by adding new lines, but if I understand you correctly, try line breaks. (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/breaks-and-spacers)
Text can be added between lines using frames (they are found under the menu Add->Frames). Read up on frames here: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/frames to see what will work best for you. Remember that append frame will add it to the end of the score, which does not sound like you want.
New lines (line break from the breaks and spacers palette) can be added to frames, just as with a measure.
There are many, many more features, but these should get you going.
Did you ever figure out how to do this? Trying to accomplish the same with guitar exercises.
