Overlapping lyric and dynamic notation
I found a score on musescore.org that was written for brass. It had no lyric but it contained a lot of dynamic symbols and creschendo/decrescendo signs. I want to arrange it for vocal and try to put in lyric. However, the lyring overlaps the dynamic notation. I can move the dynamic notations by dragging it from below the score line to the top ( a lot of work). However, when I create single scores for each voice the dynamic symbols drop down below and overlap the lyric again. Is there an easy way to clean up this. I would like the dynamic notation to be above the score lines and the lyric below.

Or you can use the function 'select all similar elements' and adjust them from Inspector
On each staff right click a dynamic and use Select>All similar elements in Same Staff. If every staff is going to have lyrics you can use Select>All similar elements. Then in the inspector change the Vertical offset to a number that puts most of the dynamics where you like them (probably somewhere between -8 and -10). You will need to do this for each staff and each different type of dynamic. It will not affect any dynamics you add after you do this, so they will need to be edited if added.

It may be necessary to slightly increase the distance between staves.
A method could be to click on the first measure of the lower staff, hold down Shift and drag with the mouse.
Thanks you both of you for useful tips :-)
