Playback pointer does not return to highlighted note/region
When one plays a score and stops, if playback is started again it does not return to the highligted note but continues where it stopped. This is counterintuitive.
Assume you select a note which you intend to change and you would like to try several alternatives. You play a couple of bars starting from that note and suppose you are not convinced. As it is still highlighted you change it directly and you play again to test the result. It turns out that the pointer does not reset to the last starting point but continues after the last stop. You have to select again the note to test the edit, which requires clicking twice (once for unselecting it and once for selecting again) .
Moreover, if playback reaches the end, pointer goes da capo.
We can live with that, but it would be nice if playback pointer were reset to the highlighted note or region when playback stops.

While I get that in this particular situation you might want to go back, at least as often one will want to continue where they left off. Unfortunately, MuseScore cannot know which behavior you desire. So you can use the loop feature to get the latter behavior in the situations where you want it.
