How can I hide voices (or only show one) for practice?
I am currently transcribing a score from a badly deteriorated physical paper copy. Somewhere in the past it seems to have been cut and collaged together to save up on the number of pages. I now use that opportunity to undo that and properly split the existing piece into separate parts (two in this case) where one part has two voices.
Having two parts is already really useful to extract only one part for practice.
But one part is still quite difficult to exercise for a beginner like me due to the two voices. I would really like to hide one of the two voices so I can easily focus on only one.
For context: the two-voice part is an Acoustic Guitar where the second voice are some hammer-on throw-ins in some locations.
Or another way to formulate the question: Is it possible to extract a voice from one instrument as a "part"? So I would end up with 3 parts instead of 2?

If you have three staves you can press 'I' and toggle 'Visible' or use the selection Filter (F6) then Inspector to set Voice as 'Invisible'.
