Hiding Staves

I use MuseScore mostly for school projects right now and are having to copy part of a score. It is simple enough, but after the first line in the score the piano part is cut out and comes in later again in the piece. I am not sure how I hide the staves for the piano because my teacher says for us to do that. We use a different program on my college campus, but I use MuseScore for convenience or I would ask him how to do it. I know there is the inspector that I can use to make the part invisible, but what I am actually trying to do is make it look as if the piano part was never actually there, like in a cut score that publishers do sometimes to save money on paper and ink.
