Help->Check for Update not working?

I decided to try out the "Check for Update" feature in the Help menu with the release of 2.2.1 (me at the time using 2.2), but it doesn't seem to work. It simply returns with a window stating "no update available." I tried this with the release of 2.2 as well, but no such luck.

OS is Windows 10, if it matters.

We haven't switched the update chrcker on yet for the next release. Typically we wait a week to make sure the release is proven to be ok. And unfortunately in case of 2.2, some critical issues came up so we released 2.2.1 yesterday. The update checker will be activated this week for 2.2.1 if all goes well.
