MuseScore 2.2.1 Killed Sound
I need to download version 2.2 to replace 2.2.1 because this latest version has killed all the audio note output. I can still hear the metronome. That's all. HELP!!!
Using Mac High Sierra.

I don't think 2.2 would be different in that respect. 2.1 might though.
You can get older versions from https://musescore.org/en/download#Older-versions
But just don't give up on 2.2.1 just yet. See #270996: No sound on upgrade to 2.2 if default soundfont was saved as default and the workarounds mentioned there, namely:
•Workaround: Open Synthesizer and add the default soundfont again or revert to factory settings, loosing all palettes, shortcuts etc... (or manually delete synthesizer.xml)
Same thing for me: I updated from 2.2 to 2.2.1, and lost my playback ability.
I went and reset to default (edit/preferences, reset all preferences to default). That did the trick. But I would still like to know why the playback sound was lost during the update from 2.2 to 2.2.1.
I would also like to know if there is a way to save the preferences to a file, for just such an occasion.

Jojo linked to[#270996] which explains it.
