One D.S. and one D.S al Coda in the same measure
Hi all
My piano teacher has her idiosyncratic ways of noting music. She uses "play from * to **, and then from & to &&", for instance.
I'm attaching the song I'm studying now. In the second file (wave002.jpg) she instructs: you play from the star until here (two stars), then from the star again to the segno, and then to the coda.
Is there a way to do that in Musescore and have playback running. The only solution I came up with would be to have a "D.S" in the measure, so it would play from a segno until the present measure, and then a "D.S. al Coda", so it would play again from the segno until the coda and jump to the coda. But I don't think musescore allows all of this to be on the same measure.

Two jump instructions starting on the same measure are indeed problematic, as MuseScore can't know in which order to take them.
You can work around that by using a very short extra measure. See attachment for an empty score you should be able to start from, having all measures and jumps set.

Thank you very, very much. I was thinking the extra measure would be the way to go, but didn't know I could set it like that. But the trouble you went into just to help me out, that's grand. Thank you.

Here it is! Playback is fine, and I approached it in a more classical way (no * or **, only D.S., coda etc.). Thanks again for your support, jeetee.
