3.0 - pitch names as unicode text
I have added this function to my branch's version of pagesettings.cpp. See the two versions of tpc2unicode() here:
https://github.com/sidewayss/MuseScore/blob/e7db59a457d024a2cf1cea8841e…
This allows me to use the FreeSerif to display Unicode musical accidentals characters, which I find useful for displaying text versions of pitch values. Many other fonts contain these characters too. It never displays the natural sign because in text pitch names it's implied, but that could be an option if anyone ever needs it.
I realize that this is not something that MuseScore needs right now, but it might in the future, so I would like to create a PR and add it to the master. It certainly makes rebasing simpler for me :-) What to you all think about it?

Why pagesettings.cpp ? And what do you do with this function exactly?

pagesettings.cpp is a typo. I meant pitchspelling.cpp.
I export pitch names for notes as plain text, without any sheet music font.
One example is my svg fretboard animations, where it displays the pitch name being played on each string.
