Repeat playback acting strangely
HI,
I've created a pretty straightforward repeat with a volta 1 and volta 2. In playback, volta one is played in full on the repeat followed by volta two instead of jumping to the second volta.
What am i doing wrong? I've checked play repeats is activated, the number of plays is set to 2. I've attached the file if anyone can help

You extended the 1st volta incorrectly to only visually span 2 measures. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/voltas#change-volta-measures
Also consider upgrading to 2.2.1, it has quite a numbers of bugs fixed and improvements included, here esp. with repeats and voltas

Thank you- that's incredibly helpful.
Do you know why bar 14 in this same score is stretched out also? I cant seem to find a way to alter it

Either select measure 14 and some measures before and use the "decrease stretch" tool: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/layout-and-formatting#layout-stretch
Or change the spacing for all measures in the score: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/general-style-measure
