being able to copy a verse or section of an existing score with all the instrument parts to make a copy or duplicate file

For purposes of composing music, sometimes I tend to sometimes focus on one verse of a song to make changes and hear how it sounds... but after making so many editions on several different verses of a song, I thought it'd be a lot easier and (less chaotic) to be able to copy sections of a song rather than have to save the whole song several times and easily lose track of what changes were made for every copy of the entire song.
That way, too, people could easily take different variations of a verse and easily hear how it fits into a song by being able to replace a verse with an alternative verse more easily... rather than having to copy and paste every instrument part, then make sure the sound used for each instrument part is the same in both mixers as well as having to adjust all of the panning, reverb,and chorus settings for every instrument part over again...(rather tedious if one is trying to compose for an orchrestra). Thanks though for being a dandy program. : ) Always am learning something nify and new....like being able to highlight a note and use the up/down arrows to raise a note up or down half a step (snazzy)! : )
