Treat pairs of eighth notes as triplet with quarter and eighth note

I would like to be able to make musescore treat all pairs of eighth notes instead as a triplet with a quarter note and an eighth note. This would make it easier to create scores that has this pattern everywhere , and makes the score easier to look at overall (e.g. the Super Mario Bros. 3 Overworld Theme - see image). At the very least, I would like to be able to type in the rhythmic pattern found in the image even without the functionality.
