Loading in existing midi file
I read through the drum notation tutorials only and I might have missed it, is there a way to create drum sheets by loading in an existing file created with electronic drums (perhaps garageband) or I have to physically do it via midi keyboard or piano, mouse etc?

If you have a MIDI file, you can open it directly via File / Open. Depending on how messy it is (whether it is quantized, whether it contains overlapping notes that require multiple voices, whether it uses GM-standard pitch/program/channel assignments, etc), it may or may not prove easier than entering by hand.
