Use musicxml ID or something else that isn't GM numbers to assign instrumentation in musescore.com
Take a look at this: https://musescore.com/user/26611236/scores/5176069
You will notice that the instrumentation musescore.com gives does not match up with the actual instrumentation at all. I have noticed that this happens only with scores I use a non-GM sound setup for so I believe that instrumentation is derived from that. I think that is not the best way as you can see the issue above.

For some reason it's calling my cello section a synthesizer, my piccolos a piano, my flutes percussion, my oboes an organ, my tenor oboe an English Horn, my small clarinet an accordian, my clarinets a harmonica, my bass clarinet a guitar, my contrabasson a bassoon ( that's understandable though), my horns basses, my Bb trumpets a harp, and my bass trombone strings.
