I have been thinking how fingering should be placement. I have looked how Sibelius places fingering. I have found MS current algorithm is not good at this time. Look at the picture. I noticed the artifacts
MuseScore places fingering as close to the note as possible. So fingering collides with note's stem and beam. The question is where should be fingering place? Above or bellow the beam? May be all fingerings should be placement at the same vertical position above the staves. Sibelius does the same way

It is more a feature request, because fingering position is the same in 2.3.2.
