v2.3.1 win8 recent files
is only showing up in menu if they are lunched from explorer
And not if the are lunched/saved within Musescore.
This was not the case for previous versions afik.

Do you mean the recent files list in the File menu within MuseScore, or something that Windows 8 presents? I don't think we have control over the latter. But the recent files list within MuseScore only updates after you've closed the file, maybe that's what you are noticing?

It's the win 8 recent files.
There seems to have been a change,
and I I guess that has to do with how Musescore is interacting with windows.
Musescore recent files is showing what it should.
