Intro brackets?
Does anyone know how to create intro brackets - that is L-shaped (up-side down) right and left matching brackets to denote what measures comprise the intro?
I have been using first and second ending lines and the right hand reverse line with roman numerals - they are not equal in thickness and don't always save well.
Thanks for any help!

Thank you - That's better than what I was using, but I need more of a 1/2 square lines; i.e. I need the length of each perpendicular line to be equal (and a right and left). Thanks again.

Will these work?
If found them in the master palette (press Z) and typed Left in the search box.

Almost, but to be readily visible I need them to look more like what I made in the attached - although I did this with 1st and VII ending lines and the line thicknesses are not the same and they do not stay in place when the document is closed and re-opened

If you click the first note covered by the line, then ctrl+click the last, it will stay put. If what you see doesn't work then use voice 2 rests and make them invisible after you insert the lines. You can adjust their thickness in the inspector and as you discovered already the length of the vertical lines in the line properties.

I also found - thanks to all of your suggestions - that I can use the straight line in the palette and add hooks. Thanks everyone! Now If I can just stack capo-ed chords! ;)
