Pizz and tremolo problems in playback
I have arranged a symphony movement for string septet (string sextet + double bass).
When playing back, the pizzicati come out as 'clunks' (something like a combination of pizz & tremolo?) in the following spots:
m.155 viola I and m.162 violin 2.
When playing back, the tremolo comes out as pizzicato (with a correct round sound) in m.159, violin 2.
I have tried re-entering changes of sound to no avail.
Please help.
Thank you.

I can't explain why your tremolo is coming out pizzicato unless you are using a different sound font than I am. I noticed that you muted everything but the normal sounds to try to isolate the problem. Don't forget you did that.
It is not necessary to use the Tremolo channel (using staff text) and the tremolo lines both, it will make it sound bad. I always use the tremolo lines and save the tremolo channel for other sounds like con sordino I have in the sound font I use. I use the staff text and select tremolo, but in the mixer my tremolo channel has the sound of con sordino (or any other sound I choose). I deleted the Tremolo and associated ord text from your score and it sounds normal.
I realize the tremolo, using the lines, doesn't sound perfect, but it gives you the idea of what the score will sound like. Perhaps there will be a future extension that fixes strings sounds.
