Probably a bug on play panel
This will only happen when moving the speed on the input box, and not on the vertical slider.
Here are the steps to reproduce:
- Open play panel
- Focus on the tempo percent number (ej 100%)
- Press up or down keyboard to change that number --optionally pressing enter will set the vertical slider.
While the tempo will change, the BPM number on the top will not.
In order to get this number in-sync with the tempo we need to click on the vertical slider.
Hope that make sense to any developer out there!

I'm having a similar problem. Tempo in the score says quarter beat equals 120 but play panel is showing 20 BPM and score is playing at 20 bpm too. When i use the slider to increase speed it's showing 0 bpm but the score does speed up. Is there a fix for this? I can't get it to register the speed I'm choosing. This is the first time this has happened but since the last update this has been the case.

Are you dragging the slider or using the mouse or typing into the box? Sliding should work. If you continu to have problems, please attach your score so we can understand and assist better.

Yes, you're right! Using the slider will work perfectly.
Now if you focus on the speed percent box (not sure how that one is called) and use the arrow keys to increase/decrease that number, when you press enter the slider is updated to reflect the new speed but the BPM box is not.
