Placing bass note DIRECTLY beneath the Chord instead of using a slash (i.e. replace D/F# with D directly over F#)
I am a professional keyboardist and singer with a very successful band. I also write tons of charts for jazz, R&B, etc. and know music theory well. Sometimes when writing a chart you don't have room to denote C/D a chord with C & D right next to each other separated by a slash (takes up too much room) You want to write C underlined directly over D to save space and keep the chart on one page. Does anyone know how to do this? Someone said they had done it but it doesn't work from their description. I have all the MuseScore 3 series and now MuseScore 4. By the way, MuseScore 4 is not so cool and is hard to use. Very non-intuitive. Go back to the MusicScore 3 layout.

With MuseScore 3, try: https://musescore.org/en/node/30501
You're right. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this in MU4. I'm wondering what to do when I run into something like Bb7#11. Which takes up even more space.
BTW. Yes, MU4 is different from MU3. Thank goodness.
