Secondary options for text styles

I think it might be good for some people to be able to have a variation in text style options. There's already System Text and Staff Text. But, what about adding a new option such as System Text 2 and Staff Text 2.

This would allow us to use multiple styles of text within a score without having to edit the properties of each individual staff text line or system text line.

For example, I could use Staff Text 1 for be italicized text, and Staff Text 2 to be non-italicized text or bold text. And/Or, each one could have a different font.

This would sort of eliminate the extra step of clicking on the text and selecting "Text Properties" in order to change just that bit of text.

You can create custom text styles (using the menu Style->Text), the only problem is there is no shortcut to enter it from scratch. You have to change the text to a new style using the inspector.

Oh, wow! I didn't realize that option was there. I've been using Musescore for a while, too. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

And about there not being a shortcut: yes, that is true. But using inspector and choosing the style is faster than right clicking and changing the properties of the style.

Now that I've figured out the option was already there for adding text styles, there are two things I'd like to follow up on with this feature request:

  1. There is no way to delete a text style once it's been made. Had I figured this out on my own, I would have expected there be a way to edit the name and/or delete the user made text style, but there isn't. This would be great.

  2. As far as I can tell, user made text styles are bound to a single score. It would be great if they were bound to the program itself so we don't have to create the text style anew for every score that we work with.

Don't be afraid to let me know if I've yet again missed that either of these is already possible. If so, then I'm sorry for my ignorance.
