How to use MuseScore with VirtualMIDISynth

Hi,
I noticed a new feature in MuseScore 2.2: Possibility to use a MIDI Output. I have VirtualMIDISynth installed, but it is not shown in musescore output devices in I/O tab in Preferences. It was not listed on any API (MME, Windows DirectSound, ASiO and skeleton implementation), So how can I get it to work with MuseScore?

I'm not sure what limitations exist with the MIDI Out or how it might communicate with virtual synths, but it should presumably work to do it the same way that worked prior to 2.2 - using JACK.
