When creating a custom time signature, it’s possible to create one that says 8+7 over 8, but not 4+3.5 over 4 or 4+3½ over 4.
In the master palette, it’s accepted in the input field, but then stripped out and not rendered.
When editing stave properties, you cannot even enter the period . or the vulgar fraction ½ in the input field.

This is a duplicate of #277279: Lack of Capabilities in the Custom Time Signature Creator. #277279: Lack of Capabilities in the Custom Time Signature Creator has a lot of info in it, I'm not sure if this needs to be a duplicate or #277279: Lack of Capabilities in the Custom Time Signature Creator needs to be broken into more requests.
Interestingly enough, even if editing the .mscx the symbols don’t show up… I guess it’s a font / character selection issue
