Rests in banjo tablature
How do I enter rests in banjo tablature? I'm working around it by entering notes where I want the rests, completing the measure, then deleting those place-holder notes. My fragile sensibilities would feel much better if I could see rests on the score.
Thanks

Here is a link to the keyboard shortcuts for tablature, it is located on the tablature page, which should help.

Is anything supposed to show up in the score? I tried the semi-colon in several combinations, but the score remains blank.

Right-click on the TAB:
-> Staff properties
-> Advanced style properties
-> Note values
-> Tick "Show rests"
-> Ok
(EDIT: alternatively, you can change the Staff type (in "I", instruments dialog) ie to Tab str.4 Full instead of the "Common" staff type default). Depends of your wish.
