There is no MuseScore Drumline Palette for MuseScore 3 Alpha. It simply doesn't load. Attempted uninstallation of Mdl 1.1 and reinstallation, as well as uninstall/reinstall of MS 3 Alpha= same result.

I guess the palette's format need to get adjusted for 3.0

Agreed; I'm assuming it just hasn't been integrated yet.
You need to create a new workspace file in 3.0, then we will need to build different MDL lib for 3.0 and deploy it to S3 to make palettes available in 3.0. It doesn't block the release, because could be done independently.
MDL release is not connected with the official MuseScore 3 release, so adapt asap, but not the blocker.
