Huge lag when typing

When I'm typing notes, there's a huge lag between the punching on the keyboard and the display of the note on the score and respective sound.
It's very bad because I'm inserting a note and earing some other one that I typed like a second before.
Also, CTRL+Down_Arrow or simply Down_Arrow to takes way too long to respond.
In general, Musescore takes way too long to respond to the keyboard.
However playback is fine.

Sorry, I don't know how to answer to "Type", "Frequncy", "Regression", "Workaround".

Known issue on very large scores, 3.0 should be better on that, so maybe you want to tray 3.0 Alpha 2 or a new development build, or wait for 3.0 Beta.
Other than that the workaround is to split tzhe score into smaller chunks, movements.
