Playback Glitch

Every time I hit the play button, the cursor jumps to a seemingly random place in the music, always ahead of the selection though, and either drones the note at that spot or makes no sound at all. Playback works regularly when played from the beginning, but anywhere else consistently causes this issue. This is in Windows 10
