Lyric Placement
In the new beta MuseScore 3, if you have multiple voice parts within a single staff in a choral arrangement, you are unable to add lyrics to each of those parts. This is a huge part of my work flow because I arrange a cappella music for a cappella choirs in MuseScore. In MuseScore 2, I was able to add text, and then move it up and down the x-axis, making room for multiple lines of lyrics under a single staff. For me, I use this if I have (for example), a tenor one and tenor two part within a single tenor staff. So while the tenor ones would be singing a whole note, the tenor twos could be singing quarter notes within the same measure. I want to be able to fit lyrics to both of those parts. In MuseScore 2, I would click on the tenor one's first note in the measure, then use the ctrl+L shortcut to add lyrics, then I would type the lyrics for the tenor one part. I would then do the same thing for the tenor two, but then I would hold the "ctrl" button, and select all of the tenor two lyrics, then move them down the x-axis so that you can actually see them and so they are not overlapping with the tenor one lyrics. In the new MuseScore 3, I cannot do that because I am unable to move things (lyrics in this situation) freely on the x-axis. I am able to move it along the y-axis, but I need to be able to move it along the x-axis.

The opposite is true, with 3.0 you finally have the option to have lyrics show above staff. So odd abobe, even below for example
Indeed you don't need to waste time dragging any more, just click the lyric then set its placement to "above" using the Inspector. Much faster - you can easily move an entire line of lyrics at once.
There is one problem though: this abelow(above staff is a style setting, so aapplies to all sylables in even or odd lyrics lines.
In earlier development builds it was possible to ser individual sylables to show above score, need when e.g. the text and rhythm of Soprano and Alto change mid score, so generally should have all stanzas below, but at a certain point Sopranos need theirs above
Not sure whether to 'recycle' this issue for this purpose...
