No "album" button on musescore 3
It's seems an easy way of merging files to create a multimovement score isn't included right now on musescore 3.

I don't know what would happen but you can try to generate it with 2.3.2 and open it with 3X.
I REALLY do regret for having uninstalled version 2 !!!!
Not only Albums have problems but many issues (or bad changes) popped up in editing scores !
Frames margins not working well, Tempo cannot be moved in (or over) frames, and lot of other details that made Musescore very easy and FLEXIBLE vanished in version 3 !!
If corrections or return to some older features of version 2 are not reactivated I will unisntall v3 to go back to v2 !!!

Just install both and use in parallel

While it is true that albums (which were always very buggy) are for now disabled, in general you should find MuseScore 3 huge improvement over MuseScore 2. A few things have changed that you will need to learn about, but the effort will be well worth it. Feel free to start a new thread explaining the difficulties you are having and we will be happy to help.
For now, I can observe that yes, frame margins work a little differently in terms of how they interact with the style defaults, the end result should be more flexibility than you had before. Also, if you want to place text in a frame, it's normally best to simply add it as frame text, and tempo markings normally should be displayed directly above the staff, but if you really wish to have a true tempo marking display elsewhere, you can disable autoplace to get that. Overall, MuseScore 3 should be much easier and more flexible once you learn to take advantage of the incredible improvements! it provides, but sure, there will be a learning curve as with any other new technology.

If something seems to have a mind of it's own when you move it either by dragging it or using the inspector, Turn of Automatic placement in the inspector for it. Your problem with Tempo and frames is no doubt related to this.
MuseScore is mostly easier to use, but requires learning some new skills to master.
