Footer Spacing or Offset in MuseScore 3.0.1
My apologies if this has been covered before but I can only find MuseScore 2 info.
Bottom line, I like my footer text (which is where I place the copyright info) to be 5mm from the bottom of the page when I have a bottom margin of 10mm which is my standard.
In MuseScore 2.X, it was easy, just set the vertical offset in Text Styles/Footer to 5mm.
In Muse Score 3.0.1 I see NO choices for units under offset, just spaces and NO option for mm and no matter how many times I change it, nothing changes and all of my changes disappear if click OK and re-open the Footer Text Styles again to check them.
In other words it isn't saving my changes including alignment.
The ONLY footer text style change that seems to have any effect is the font size.
The ONLY way I can get the footer 5mm from the bottom is to reset the page margin which isn't satisfactory since I never had to do that before.
What I am I doing wrong?

I checked this out for myself and it is indeed a tricky text to move. Going to Style -> Text Styles -> Footer and trying to use the offset settings simply doesn't work. They don't change anything. All other changes you can make to the text from there works in real time except the offset meter which doesn't work at all. What really baffles me, though, is that you're not even able to select the footer as an element, still.

I guess I'll be sticking with MuseScore 2.3.2 for the time being.
Resetting all my bottom margins to place the footer where I want it is not satisfactory.
Thanks for the confirmation!
Could someone file a bug report to the issue tracker (eg, with Help / Report a Bug) with sample score and precise steps to reproduce the problem?

Thanks for #282035: Footer Text Position is Not Effected by Changes in Offset or Alignment Settings
