Musescore 3 is hanging on install

This is not a Musescore problem, I don't think, but I need some help with it. I had a PC crash and had to install and set up a new hard drive. I tried to salvage as much as I could from the old drive. I successfully installed Musescore V3 and did some work with it. There were a couple of new features that I did not want to bother with on a learning curve as I was in a time crunch on an arrangement for my group. I uninstalled V3 ... it hung up on "uninstalling" and after about 15 minutes, I could not stop it with the Task Manager or any other way, so I had to just power off my PC. When I restartted, it was uninstalled. NOW, trying to reinstall V2, it goes through the initial steps but gets completely hung up on the "computing space requrements" window. It will not X out, cancel or end task in task manager.

Any helpful thoughts on my problem?
