My work moved over a page and I don’t know what to do...

I was working on my a cappella arrangement of Waka Waka by Shakira and I accidentally pressed something and all my work (except my title page) moved over a page, as if I had a cover page. I don’t like it and I want it to go back. Please help me!! I’ve attached a picture of my predicament.

It would be better for you to attach the mscz file so we can examine it and work out what you did :)

It's my guess that the Page Fill Threshold setting has kicked in to cause this, but I can't be sure without access to the score file itself.

Just as a mechanic can't do much to fix problems with your car given only a picture of it, neither can we do much to help you with your score given only a picture of it :-). Posting the actual score usually helps more. Also say what version of MuseScore and what OS.

From the looks of it, though, I'm guessing there simply isn't room for both a full page of music and the title. probably there was before you added lyrics, now there isn't. So you'll simply have to make something smaller to fit it all one page - the music, the title, the space between the systems, the margins, etc.

It's just as I said before - there just isn't room for the both the title and ther first system of music on the first page. So you'll need to make something smaller - either smaller type overall (layout / page settings / space) or else reduce margins, systems distance, etc. There's no magic here - you just need to make something smaller to fit on the page, but it's up to you what specifically you decide to shrink.

Double click on the frame shown around the title in your screenshot, then drag the (blue square) handle towards the top of the page. The music on page 2 may move back to the first page if there's enough room. If not, follow the suggestions above.

Regards.

changing the length of the page (maybe from letter to "A4" or even "legal." That way it will be on the same page. Just a thought ...
