File wont open
Working on my music and later the day went to open it and it came up with:
Cannot read file C:/Users/ewanh/Documents/MuseScore2/Scores/John Anderson, my Jo.mscx:
bad format:
XML read error at line 16, column 1:
Can anyone help??

The file is corrupt beond repair. You need to look for a backup. See https://musescore.org/en/node/52116
I'm curious if you always use the .mscx format or if you extracted it from a .mscz file. If you did get it from a .mscz file, then you can try to attach that file to see if we can extract a better copy of the .mscx.
