Playback not operation

Please help! With the recent update to Musescore 3, the playback option doesn't operate. It is on the screen but is faded. Even when a press spacebar, the playback doesn't play and when I enter notes the pitch doesn't sound. it used to work. Where is the setting that I can fix it.
