Can't edit fretboard diagrams, grayed out options
As you can tell from the first photo, the options for my pallets are all grayed out except for the "save" option.
Further, such as in the 2nd photo, I don't get the option "Fretboard Diagram Properties", which the handbook says is needed to edit the diagrams. I do get the "Edit Element" option, but when I select that, I get the error.
How do I fix this?

Select the fretboard diagram and look in the inspector (F8) to edit it.

I don't use the dark theme. The options look the same to me. Are you using a custom workspace? If not see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/workspaces#create-custom-workspace. This will allow you to add diagrams to the palette.

No, I'm just using the advanced mode, and you can tell they're not selectable because they're blurry and the one option is not. Here's a picture in light mode though

You can't edit the built-in Basic or Advanced workspaces, you need a custom workspace for that.
