Changing the default MuseScore version

Hi, gang!!!

I use MuseScore 3.0.5 (not the Portable AppImage), in Ubuntu Studio 18.04.2 LTS (64 bit Linux). I still have installed the 2.3.2 version... Just in case.

It should be a very stupid question, maybe, but...

I found something "rare"... Each time I want to open some score from this forum, my system try to open it with the 2.3.2 version as default.

Is there some way to tell my system to use just the 3.0.5 version to open the files? ???

Do I have to uninstall the old version, first? ???
